Executive Vice President

Daniel M. Taylor is a founding member and executive vice president of the Griffin & Taylor Company, Inc. (GTC) and is primarily responsible of the company’s accounting and asset management system. With over a decade of banking and real estate experience, his professional career includes non-profit community development, retail bank branch development, commercial lending, and REO asset management.

Mr. Taylor started his career as a finance management trainee while working at the Seaway Bank and Trust Company where he eventually served as a Special Assets Officer responsible for managing the financial performance and providing asset management for non-performing and REO assets in Illinois and Wisconsin. Mr. Taylor also provided revenue and expense analysis from asset dispositions and detailed forecasts for optimal sales performance. Mr. Taylor is a strategic leader with proven ability to identify operational weaknesses, restructure processes, and improve performance inefficiencies.

In addition to his professional pursuits, Daniel actively supports the Union League of Chicago Boys & Girls Club and is a member of the Associate Board – contributing time to positively affect change for youth in communities throughout Chicago. Mr. Taylor completed his undergraduate and graduate studies at DePaul University, receiving a Master of Business Analytics from the Kellstadt School of Business in Chicago.
